    What makes Da Nang a Popular Tourist Destination in Vietnam

    Da Nang is a scenic and beautiful coastal city in central Vietnam and is a very popular tourist destination for sandy and exotic beaches and its rich history. This city used to be a colonial port which was established by the French.  There are many tourist spots in and around the city, one of them is Bà Nà hills, which is located to the Western part of the city. From the Hải Vân Pass, you can get a clear view of the Marble Mountains and Da Nang Bay. There are many monasteries and Buddhist shrines which are located in nearby regions, along with Pagodas and hide caves.

    Da Nag has always been one of the major tourist destinations in Vietnam and is visited by thousands from all over the world. Therefore, finding a good hotel in Da Nang shouldn’t be an issue at all, as there are plenty of different options available.

    Best Tourist Attractions in Da Nang

    If you pay a visit to Da Nang, there are numerous tourist spots which you can visit. In the following section, you will be offered a brief insight into some of them

    • Son Tra Mountain or Monkey Mountain: This is a National Park and is located at a height of 694 meters from the sea level. Locally this place is known by the name of Son Tra Peninsula and is one of the most popular destinations for the tourists who are interested in adventure activities like hiking, motorcycling. Here you can enjoy the thrill of a deep and thick jungle and you can also get to see the red faced monkeys.
    • Dragon Bridge: This mind blowing work of engineering stands at a height of 666 meters and it happens to be the longest bridge in the country. This is a very popular spot among the photography enthusiasts. This is a 6 lane bridge which is built over the Han River and is constructed in the shape of a dragon, which is considered to be a symbol of nobility, power and good luck by the locals.
    • Phap Lam Pagoda: This is the perfect spot for those who are in search of peace and meditation. This pagoda has plenty of trees around, with manicured gardens and beautiful Buddhist sculptures. In the courtyard of the Pagoda, you can witness sitting statue of Lord Buddha, which is 1.1 meters high
    • Hai Van Pass: This is another very popular tourist spot in Da Nang and is located at a height of 500 meters above the sea level. This happens to be the highest pass in the country and is located between the city of Da Nang and Thua Thien-Hue Province. From this pass, you can get an excellent panoramic view of the entire Da Nang city and the Verdant mountains; along with Son Tra Peninsula, South China Sea and Tien Sa Port.
