    Marbella, located in the province of Malaga, is one of the most touristic cities on the entire Costa del Sol. With almost 150,000 inhabitants, each year it attracts thousands of tourists, both national and international, thanks to its climate (its annual average temperature is 18ºC) and its , many different touristic spots. In this article we’re going to mention some of Marbella’s most famous spots for tourists to see while visiting the city.

    La Avenida del Mar

    A beautiful walk, an open-air museum, that takes you from Alameda Park to Venus Beach, where you can find 10 statues inspired by Famous Spanish Artists.

    Old Town of Marbella

     The old town of Marbella, which was once a small fishing port, has small squares with a lot of charm and an Andalusian touch, churches and monuments.

    Museums

    You can visit some of its worldwide famous places like the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Engraving, which has works by Picasso, Miró, Dalí, among others; the Ralli Museum, with a collection of contemporary artists from Latin American countries.

    Churches

    You can visit places such as the Ermita De Santiago (one of the oldest religious buildings in Marbella), the Church of Santa María de la Encarnación, the Hermitage of Santo Cristo de la Veracruz.

    La Cañada Shopping Center

    If you are looking for a place to go shopping, La Cañada is the perfect place. This shopping center has more than 300 shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and cinema. It is a perfect place for those who enjoy doing some cosmopolitan activities during their vacations.

    Marbella Beaches

    Marbella has 27 km of coastline, some 24 different beaches, each with different characteristics, to be highlighted: the most visited as San Pedro Alcántara and Puerto Banús, which have blue flags, the latter being famous for being frequented by many famous ; the Puente Romano beaches and the veneer beaches like Cabo Pino and Don Carlos, which have fine sand and hardly any stones; the beach of Artola or Cabopino, located in the Dunes of Artola.

    Other nearby places Near Marbella you can visit other places like Estepona, Fuengirola, Torremolinos, Ronda, the city of Cadiz, Gibraltar and even Ceuta and Morocco through the ferries that leave from Gibraltar.
