Want To Go On A Unique Vacation? Tired of taking the same vacations year after year? Why not go on a once in a lifetime trip to Tanzania? Where is Tanzania? It is on the SouthEastern side of Africa. There are many wonders to see and explore while there. It can be a dream come true for the adventurous, and outdoorsy types. The following should be on your tanzania itinerary.

Pack your hiking boots and be ready for a hike on Africa’s tallest mountain. Soaring at over 19,000 feet above the water, its three volcanic peaks can be seen for miles. These volcanoes are dormant, as their last eruptions were over 150,000 years ago. There are several trails that you can hike. However, you must be a serious hiker to attempt this. The temperatures get quite colder, the higher you climb. The altitude is a bit of an adjustment as well.

Don’t want to hike “Kili”, that’s okay, there are plenty of other things to do. Relax on the beaches which spread for 828 miles, so there are many to choose from. You will be amazed at the crystal clear blue-green waters. Stick around for a fantastic sunset every night as well. You will not be disappointed.

If you really want to see and experience the waters off the coast, go on a sailing cruise. There are many different cruises with varying days out. You can explore some nearby island, go snorkeling, swimming, or just relax. You will feel like you have your own private island.

After exploring the coast and mountains, you begin your true adventure. Make sure to have your camera ready, as well as appropriate clothing for a safari adventure. Experience the real thing, not just animals in enclosed habitats. Hop in a specialty jeep with your tour guide. They will take you out to see wildlife animals in their real free-roaming habitats.

The Serengeti is a wonderful place to visit. Schedule a tour package with accommodations right in the heart of free-roaming animals, like antelopes, Zebra, and more. You can book 6, 8, 9,10,12, or even 14-day excursions that will take you anywhere with accommodations all throughout the trip.

There are so many different options when it comes to “going on safari”. You can choose to do a bird-watching expedition where you get to see many different birds of Africa. There are two options of prime animal viewing. One is during the “green season”. This is just after the rainy season. Everything is growing, and the animals come out to graze. The other is the dry season. This permits you to see many animals all together at the only water sources. This time of the year can be extremely hot, so be prepared.

The beaches, mountains, and safari are all great sights to see, but the cultural aspects of Africa are just as great to experience. Eat the wonderful foods in the many villages you will visit while on safari. See the colorful markets as well. They sell everything from homemade jewelry, paintings, clothing, toys, and more. While you stroll along with the fascinating display of wares, you will hear the music of locals. . There are also many cafes spread out along these markets to sit outside and enjoy the scenery.

If you did not see the Ngorongoro Crater while on safari, this is a must-visit. The animals graze out here as well. It is a crater from a huge volcano that exploded millions of years ago. It made a huge walled-in area that is now protected for the animals within. Make sure to add some or all of these places to your tanzania itinerary, for a guaranteed great experience.
