For beginners, diving is not just about diving sport but a holistic approach to holding your breath by slowly increasing your body’s capacity to get accustomed to the ambiance. Freediving teaches individuals to relax and not get distracted by the confusion, and other hurdles life may throw at them. It addresses the issues that envelop most human beings with one single focus: to create an environment conducive to calming their minds and making life more interesting and enjoyable. It removes all unwanted nervousness in people who feel intimidated by seeing a large body of water like the ocean.

The diving course at Panglao is one that people of all ages can benefit from, including a certificate as a freediver. The Freediving School Cabo Verde courses are taught by certified instructors from the world’s leading and recognized freediving agencies.

    2 Different Types of Courses

For starting their new freediving experience, the institution offers 2 types of courses. One is the ‘Introduction to Freediving,’ and the second is the ‘Beginner Freediving Course.’ The freediving for beginners classes is held in small groups of 3 to 4 students to maximize focus on each student and better practice time for them. It also results in a greater understanding of higher skills and greater confidence.

The beginner course can be completed within 2 to 2.5 days, including introducing diving techniques. However, you must move from level 1 to the next level. You get to experience the purest form of diving, and you will find it amazing to make your day.

For this reason, the beginner’s course is said to be the priority with instructors. The course is known as level 1 molochanovs; the others are the SSI Level 1 and AIDA 2 freediving courses.

    Breath-Hold Techniques

You will find the diving course at Panglao fit for going to higher levels of competition. It will be free of your fear of water, and diving will almost become routine. You will get to understand the breathing and breath-hold techniques used by freedivers. It will include relaxation techniques through open water sessions, pool sessions, and classroom periods.

After you have passed all the course requirements, which include a 25-question multiple choice exam, you will get your digital certificate. It would mean you have acquired the necessary skills to dive effortlessly and safely at depths of up to 20 meters. And above all, it will help you to remain underwater without oxygen, which may look unbelievable to you.
