    5. Okonjima

    A popular attraction in the area is Okonjima nature reserve which is located in the Omboroko Mountains. There is also a small waterfall. Okonjima simply means “place of the baboons”. Cape Cross seal reserve can be found in the Skeleton Coast in the South Atlantic which is in western Namibia. Many people also come to the Botanical Garden Walking Path which remains one of the popular meeting place is in the area. Popa Game Park as a variety of bird species and there are campsites, hiking trails and opportunities for fishing. Houses can be purchased for cash for US$1 million.

    4. Vogelstrand

    Many people in this area visit Snake Park which has a wide range of reptiles. Charlie’s Desert Tours is equally popular. For engineering enthusiasts there is Martin Luther museum where there is a very old steam tractor. People should also visit National Marine aquarium which does not only have interesting Marine species but it also provides people with educational programs. Another place of interest is living Desert snake Park where a wide variety of snake species is on display. In this beautiful area a house can cost US$1.1 million.

    3. Auasblick

    For lovers of the outdoors there is Steinheim Game Farm and the Avis Dam Nature Reserve which has many different bird species and there is also hiking and biking opportunities. Wildlife can also be seen at Zoo Park. One of the prominent landmarks is Heroes Acre but it will also be worthwhile to visit Liebig Haus. Rock Towers, Curt von Francois Statue and Schwerinsburg is also popular. Schwerinsburg is currently the residence of the Italian ambassador and it is also is the biggest of three remaining castles in Windhoek. A house in this beautiful area can cost approximately US$1.15 million.

    2. Kramersdorf

    A popular attraction which must to be seen in this area is Hohenzollernhaus which was constructed in 1904. It was originally used as a hotel but has now become a condominium. For the adventurous there is Charlie’s Desert Tours which will take people on excursions into the Namibian desert. A very popular meeting place is Jetty Peer which is a lovely place to enjoy the sunset. The Swakopmund Public Beach is the perfect place to relax after you have been sightseeing or shopping. It also provides excellent surfing opportunities. A house can cost US$1.3 million if you can buy property for cash.

    1. Finkenstein

    Just like in many other countries the railway history of Namibia is also very interesting. This is why the TransNamib Museum with its functioning train station will always be attractive to visitors and local people. People also like to meet at Parliament Gardens which is located in downtown Windhoek. It has been in existence since 1932 and at that time was known as Tintenpalast gardens. The name was changed after Namibian independence in 1990. Skeleton Coast National Park is another major tourism attraction and it is located on the northwestern coast. Many shipwrecks as well as whale skeletons can be seen. This is a popular place among fishermen. A house in this area can cost US$1.4 million.
