A La Turca
The smell of lamb, charred eggplant and unique spices of these restaurants have been attracting people for over a decade. The chef and owner of A La Turca is Gerardo Avila who serves Turkish food with a touch of American and European flavours. Some of its famous dishes which people always have are appetizers like falafel with chickpea, cilantro and parsley at $7, beef liver with pomegranate sauce at $10. For main courses the restaurant serves dishes like grilled branzino at $29, baby lamb chops at $29 and vegan stuffed eggplants at $18. People really love kebabs at this restaurant as well. People should try the doner made with fresh ground lamb and beef shaved over rice and served with grilled tomato at $18. GG’s Waterfront
There is no ameliorate place in Hollywood for alfresco dining than this amazing waterside restaurant on North ocean drive. It is known as a former celebrity hangout place like Sinatra, the Rat pack, and New York Mobsters. GG’s is a place where locals usually go when they want to have Florida’s fresh seafood and steak. For starters you will find a colossal crab cocktail at $20, watermelon salad with tahini dressing, feat, and shaved chile at $12. You can also eat harissa-galvanize octopus with olives, marinated peppers, golden raisins, potato, and Moroccan chermoula at $15. The best dessert you can have here is a lime pie made with white chocolate, macadamia-graham crust, strawberry coulis and dehydrated lime at $10. On Sundays, GG’s owner of a special brunch and live Caribbean music at the dockside lounge.
Kuro
There are a number of Japanese restaurants in Hollywood but Kuro at Seminole Hard rock Hotel and casino is famous for its kaiseki, the traditional Japanese multi-course dinner. The restaurant has a 9,500 sq feet dining room accompanied by the resort’s lush pool area. This restaurant serves dishes like hokkaido scallop sashimi with yuzu gel, young ginger, and sea salt at $16, salmon karé with seasonal vegetables, cauliflower, and Japanese curry at $24 and cowardly amadare with broccolini and yuzu amadare sauce at $22. The restaurant also has a lengthy lineup of sashimi, including ocean trout at $6, sea bream at $6, sea bass at $5 and sea urchin at $8.
Le Tub Saloon
The locals dining in Hollywood studios say that this place has the best burger in town. There is nothing fancy about the outdoor-seating eatery. But people have been enjoying their meals here for the last three decades. Its wacky interior and the painted toilets and bathtubs of the outdoor wood deck facing the Intracoastal Waterway complement the appeal. The signature sirloin burger which is made famous by the GQ magazine and Oprah is very big enough to be shared and it costs $11. Other favorites are chili made with ground sirloin with tomatoes, green peppers, onions, and seasonings at $5, barbecue pork served on a roll at $9, and beer-steamed shrimp served with butter or cocktail sauce at $20. Key lime pie for dessert is the perfect dessert you can here for $4.
