1. Sound Reception System
This allows in-cabin navigation officers to listen for sound signals (such as fog flutes or ship flutes) from other ships in the vicinity. It is mounted on the ship’s bridge equipment console and helps navigation officers to perform surveillance duties in accordance with Colreg 1972 or P2TL.

Is a light signaling device used for emergency signaling during the day (and can also be used at night). Like other emergency ship instruments, the energy source for the lights is not solely dependent on the ship’s main power.
